Moneesh Arora M.D., Ph.D., Chief Medical Consultant

Dr. Moneesh Arora is an Indian educated and trained physician who received his post-graduate training at the Burdenko Neurosurgery Institute in Moscow after having completed his basic medical education and residency at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi, India. Dr. Arora completed his residency training at Queen’s Medical Center, London. He has fifteen years experience in the field of Neurosurgery, Family Medicine and Neurology. Dr. Arora spent six years as Staff Physician at the European Medical Center (EMC), Moscow, before joining the American Medical Center Moscow in early 2003 as Chief Medical Director. Dr. Arora also heads a healthcare management firm in Moscow and consults the American Medical Centers in Kyiv as a Medical Consultant. He speaks English, Hindi, Russian, Spanish, and French. Rose Gazin, M.D., Family Physician, Gynecologist

Dr. Gazin is a US Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist and member of the American College of American College of Physicians--American Society of Internal Medicine. She completed her internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Gazin has worked as a Family Physician at both the European Medical Center and the American Medical Center in Moscow and specializes in Family Practice, Gynecology and Pediatrics.

Lyudmila Melnik, M.D., Ph.D., Obstetrician & Gynecologist

Dr. Ludmila Melnik graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1976. She completed her internship program in 1977 and residency program in 1982. Having received her Ph.D., Dr. Melnik practiced at the Kyiv Institute of Pediatrics and Gynecology, where she later became the Director of the Women's Reproductive Health Department. Following extensive overseas work as an obstetrician-gynecologist in Libya, Dr. Melnik joined AMC Kyiv in1996 where she now specializes in diagnostics and treatment of GYN infections, infertility, family planning, prenatal programs and deliveries.

Anne Aubois, M.D. Ear Nose and Throat (ENT)

Dr. Anne Aubois is a French National specializing in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Medicine. A graduate of the University of Nancy Medical Department (France), Dr. Aubois specializes in children's deafness and genetic presbycusis, age related hearing loss. Dr. Aubois has practiced as a specialist and surgeon in Paris and Warsaw and was part of the famed Chistine Petit ENT team at the Pasteur Institute. Dr. Aubois speaks French, Polish and English.

Alla Volokha, M.D., Ph.D., Staff Pediatrician

Alla Volokha, MD, PhD, is leading professional in the field of Pediatrics with over 20 years of clinical experience in a variety of pediatrics specialties to include general pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric ambulatory and inpatient care, and pediatric infectious diseases and immunology. Dr. Volokha has worked as an Associate-professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology teaching practicing physicians at the Kiev Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Dr. Volokha has a strong background in research and published over 50 articles covering a variety of topics in pediatrics. She has had several training program in pediatrics at the universities of Canada, Israel and Austria. She is familiar with American pediatric protocols recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes for Health (NIH). She speaks Russian and Ukrainian natively, English fluently.

Roberto Quispe, M.D., Family Physician

Dr. Roberto Quispe joined American Medical Centers-Kyiv in December 2002 after his work at the Emergency Center of Gorlovka city in the intensive therapy team. He graduated from the Donetsk Medical University in 1991, and during 1993-1994 worked as a general medicine trainee at Avesta City Hospital in Sweden. Dr. Quispe is specialized in Cardiology and speaks English, Spanish and Russian.

Richard Styles, M.D., Family Physician 

Dr. Richard Styles joined AMC Kyiv's Family Physician department in January 2008. Dr. Styles worked as a Senior Clinician in Family Practice in the UK for 27 years and has been an Examiner of the Royal College of General Practitioners since 1988, elected to Fellowship in 1995. Dr. Styles has consulted on public health issues  in America and Kuwait and successfully directed a EU project in Family Medicine in Ukraine from 2003 to 2006. Oxana Chernyshova, M.D, Ph.D, Staff Pediatrican

Dr. Chernyshova graduated from the National Medical University in Kyiv and completed her clinical studies and internship at the Pediatric Department number 4. Dr. Chernyshova furthered  her post-graduate studies in Pediatric Gastroenterology  and participated in the Salzburg / Philadelphia seminar program in Salzburg Austria. In 2005, Dr. Chernyshova received a second diploma in Family Medicine. She is credited for over thirty scientific papers and speaks fluent German, English, Russian and Ukrainian.

Sinan Turnacioglu, M.D, Staff Pediatrician  

Dr. Sinan Turnacioglu is an American pediatrician who has recently moved to Kyiv from Bethesda, Maryland. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.D. from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his pediatric residency training at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Turnacioglu has 3 years of private pediatric practice. His clinical interests include developmental pediatrics and public health policy. In his free time Dr. Turnacioglu enjoys long distance running as well as writing and reading for pleasure.

Anastasia Barzylovich, Staff Pediatrician 

Dr. Anastasia Barzylovich received her Medical Masters Diploma with honors together with PhD academic degree in pediatrics at the National Medical University of Ukraine. Dr. Barzylovich previously worked at the Childrens City Hospital and is currently working part-time as an Assistant Professor. Dr.Barzylovich is listed in Ukraine's Top 100 Physicians and Specialists and has worked with AMC Kyiv since 2005.  

Irina Kuropiatnik, M.D, Laboratory Director 

Dr. Kuropiatnik graduated from Kharkov National University in 1984 and received her medical degree at the Kiev Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Dr. Kuropiatnik has sixteen years of experience in the sphere of laboratory investigations, seven years of which working in clinical laboratory diagnostics. Irina worked in the United States for four years, and joined AMC in 2005. 

Oksana Murzina, Chief Pharmacist

Oksana Murzina is a fully licensed pharmacist with six years of experience in the industry. Educated at the L'viv State Medical Institute, Oksana graduated in 1994 and completed her pharmacy internship program in 1995 at the Kyiv National Institute for Advanced Medical Studies. Oksana is a specialist is broad-spectrum pharmaceutical management and joined AMC Kyiv in October 2000 after working six years with the Pharmaceutical Expert Center in Kyiv, Ukraine. Oksana is a pharmaceutical specialist with international pharmacy work experience and is proficient in consulting both medical staff and patients in an efficient and appropriate selection of pharmaceuticals as well as providing advice regarding indications, dosage, side effects, contraindications and appropriate substitutions.

Hellen Geller, PSY.D, Staff Psychologist

Hellen is a US licensed Clinical Psychologist with eight years of experience practicing in individual, family and group therapy in the areas of psychiatric disorders, child psychology, and crisis management. Dr. Geller is originally from Kyiv and speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English

Arman Javanshiri, M.D., Family Physician, Gynecologist

Dr. Javanshiri graduated from a Azad Medical University in Tehran in 1999 as a Family Physician and General Practitioner. Dr. Javanshiri also graduated from Kyiv National Medical University and the National Academy of Post-Graduate study in 2007 after a three year residency program in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Javanshiri has worked five years in private practice and Kyiv emergency clinics and joins AMC as an On-Call Physician. He speaks English, Russian, Persian and understands Turkish and Ukrainian.

Maria Larionova, Chief Nurse
Maria graduated from Kyiv Medical College in 1981 and worked as a nurse in the dental and gynecological clinics following graduation. She has worked in Maternity Hospital No.2 in Kiev and for a medical clinic in Tripoli, Libya for several years before returning to Kiev to work for AMC.

 
Elena Demidenko, Staff Nurse
Elena graduated from Kyiv Medical College in 1989 and from 1989 until 1994 she worked as a staff nurse in the rehabilitation department of the Kyiv Institute of Clinical Surgery. In 1994, she began working for the Department of Alternative Medicine until she joined American Medical Centers as a staff nurse in 1998.

Olga Odynets, Staff Nurse

Olga has five years of experience working at various hospitals settings in London, UK including the Whittington Hosiptal, NHS. Olga is originally from Kyiv and speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English.  

Natalia Kovkrak, Staff Nurse

Natalia has worked in Libya and England as a Surgical nurse and joins AMC as our resident night nurse. She is fluent in English, Slovak, Arabian and speaks Ukrainian and Russian natively.

Nadejda Skryabina, Staff Nurse 

Mrs. Skryabina graduated Kiev Medical College #4 in 1977. From 1978 till 1980, Mrs. Skryabina worked in the Cardiology department of Kiev Clinical Hospital #14 and thereafter, at the Children’s Clinical Hospital in Kyiv. Mrs. Skryabina joined AMC in 2002 and is currently AMC’s Pediatric Nurse.

Maryanna PyshnaStaff Nurse

Maryanna is an urgent care nurse originally from the Lviv region. She attended the Boryslav Medical School and graduated in 1999. Maryanna joined AMC Kyiv in 2006.

Nataliya Matusevych, Staff Nurse

Nataliya graduated nursing from the Kiev Medical College in 2003. She  has successfully passed her TOEFL, CGFNS Qualifying exam and most  recently her NCLEX exams to practice nursing in the United States.  Nataliya speaks English, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Ukrainian and   prevously worked at the City Clinical Hospital no. 7 in Kyiv.
